In simple terms, a recreational aircraft is any single engine aircraft with a maximum of two seats that weighs under 600kg and has a stall (landing speed) of 45 knots or slower.
At Blue Sky Aviation, we train pilots to fly recreation aircraft as a hobby and for the pure thrill of piloting your own aircraft. We operate from the Western Australian wheatbelt town of Narrogin, the largest centre in the Great Southern.
Blue Sky Aviation offers state of the art flight training in Western Australia. Our instructor is the owner of the business and is dedicated to teaching aviation – he always places the students’ needs first. As a pilot himself with over seven years of flying experience and six years of teaching experience, he understands the needs of recreational flying students. He is also a member of the Avon Valley Aviation Alliance, the only organisation of its kind in the nation.
Our two training aircraft are factory built, fully enclosed and expertly maintained to the highest Recreational Aviation Australia standards.
